Who are your followers following? You can look at this by clicking on someone’s profile, then click on the down arrow on the right. Instagram will suggest their followers as accounts to follow.

As you follow people, Instagram keeps track of that and suggests similar accounts to follow. That helps you find more accounts of potential clients.

Follow those Who Will Follow Back

Do they seem interested in services like yours? Will they appreciate your content? And, importantly, do they follow more accounts than the number of followers they have? If they follow fewer than the number of followers they have, they likely do not have a habit of following back.

Are they posting? If they have no posts, they may not be active on Instagram and might not follow you back.

Always follow back. You increase your likelihood of being followed if you regularly follow back.
